Two Nomads

Two of us, in the rain
Stood together
As if,
Bonded by tears
Bonded by smears
Enslaved
Confined
Shackled
In this so-called institution
Of marriage
What was love once
Now feels like
Capital Punishment

There's no hate just
Boredom,
Life's no thrill just
Linear Motion
The Hurricane of love
Which took us
Heaven,
The dust of it
Settled
There's no hurricane, just
Whiff.

Stand we two
Overbored
Underamused
In face of each other
Empty
Void
Trivial
Weak
All of the stuff
Too blinded by love
To see, To feel
No contempt though
Just Bored.

Bored by reality
Fascinated once by
Love Illusions
Nasty Delusions
Oue own Seclusion
But,
Let's begin
Once more
Like we first met
And were struck
By Hurricane.

p.s. just for the record i aint married not even close to the posibility of it any time now... the poem was inspired by a married couple i saw at a multiplex sum time ago, they seemed so bored of each other, so much so that they didnt even feel like talking to one another. i dont know much about what to say, i just know that its a sad thing to happen to anybody.

thnx dude fr visitng... yup its been a long tym... jst tht its been too much happening around me in the "practical" world i live in...

giving me less and less tym fr my own "poetic conception of everything" .... maybe both the practical and philosophical are in conflict with each other.. may be they should synergise...

in short have been busy doin stuff u knw!!! lol!!!!

Missed you. Yes, there are seasons in marriage. I've been there for nearly 30 years and am now coming to cherish it more than ever. Didn't appreciate it as much when I was younger. (We all depend on our external "elements").

I love this poem and I appreciate the fact that you are not married! I see it can be people who are married falling in and out of love...and beginning again...just as we fall in and out of love with life. I wonder if falling out of life can be a kind of life burn out and I wonder can it be easier to look to the part for the fault of our own thinking at that time

I like your blog and I invite you to visit Psyche Connections. I enjoy exchanging following blog links if you have an interest?

ayiiii how depressing.
marriage or not, life isnt meant to be lived that way. it would be a sin, if anything is.

brillaint, isnt it sad to see 2 people who once thought the world of each other now hardly have a thing to say!!!
