Orphan

Then I was just a
Victim of the streets
Now, Here I stand
Ruling the streets
I'm on a wild wild
Killing Spree
Giving back to society
What it gave to me
Holy hate
Now everybody's fate
Is in my hands
And this gun on your head

Deserted and dumped
On birth
I was society's burden
And responsibility
Instead I was
Abused and ignored
Now nobody dare
Overhear my call
Then, streets owned me
Now I stand here
Owner of these streets

Hungry and isolated
As a little kid
I learned by cognition
All wicked ways of
This cruel society
I didn't matter
Till I became a thorn
Better bow in respect
Or salute in fear
Call me a devil's heir
But better behave
When I'm near.

Then, I screamed
And wailed for Help
Society is deaf, I learned
Now, they listen
For their life depends
On my every word

A Student of
Misery and poverty
Now Teacher of
Hatred and violence
You'll pay too
There's enough
Rage inside me.

Nice poem. Very responsible thinking. How unfortunate to live in a society where kids are forced into bad living.

Well, I guess that I am doing a little when I go into our inner city schools a couple of times a week, but that seems so little. What about them where you live!
